We use a service called EZproxy to provide Creighton students, faculty, and staff access to electronic library resources from off campus. When you click on a resource licensed to Creighton, you will automatically go to the login page (shown below). You only need to log in once per Internet session.
Standard Login Method
Refer to the yellow panel in the screen image below. Log in using your Creighton netID alone (without a Blue\ or AD\ prefix). To reset your password, go to http://ami.creighton.edu. To change it, go to http://blueuser.creighton.edu.
Alternative Login Method
Refer to the blue panel in the screen image below. This is an older
alternative that is being phased out, but may still work for some. Omit
apostrophes (OMalley
not O'Malley). Omit spaces or try using a hyphen (DeSilva
or De-Silva, not De Silva).
Can I access library e-journals through the open web?
The Creighton Libraries partner with Google Scholar, PubMed, IngentaConnect, and others to activate linkouts to our electronic holdings. From off campus, you must log in to these services through the Library's website (EZproxy) or you will not be recognized as a legitimate subscriber.
If you are prompted for payment or for a login other than your Creighton
netID, the article may not be held at Creighton. You may wish to consider
interlibrary loan as an alternative.
What if I don't have a Creighton ID?
If you are a distance learning student or instructor, you can apply for an ID from Creighton University Card Services. Alternatively, you may submit a Request for Remote Access form to the Health Sciences Library.
What if I still can't log in?
A handful of databases do not work with EZProxy. These exceptions are indicated on the website. For login information, please contact the Reinert-Alumni Library Reference desk at (402) 280-2227 or askus@creighton.edu.
If you are still unable to log in, you may contact the Health Sciences Library at (402) 280-5138 or refdesk@creighton.edu.
